If you have ordered a subscription online, all you need to do to activate it is follow these instructions
1.You will receive your new SIM card within two working days. Warning: for security reasons, the SIM card is not yet activated..
2.Activating your SIM card once you have received it is really easy! All you need to do is go to www.orange.lu, log in to your Customer Area then go to “My orders” and select “Activate my SIM” then follow the instructions. Your new SIM card will then be ready to use in a few moments.
If you are already using an Orange prepaid card and you are switching to a subscription, you don’t need to change your SIM card. We will automatically activate your new service and you get to keep your current number. Make sure you use all your prepaid call credit before switching to a subscription, because the call credit will be lost and will not be refunded.
Want to keep your current number?
No problem! All you need to do is mention this at the time of purchase.
If you asked to port your old number when signing your contract, please be aware that numbers can only be ported between operators between Monday 9.00 am and Friday 5.00 pm. You will be able to use your temporary number if you have already inserted your Orange SIM (you can call, surf the web and send text messages) but you will not receive calls and texts on the number that is being ported.
Your temporary number is available in your Customer Area, in the “My orders” section.
