Once you have made the eSIM activation request, you need to download the profile onto your new iPhone.
These are the steps to follow to make this modification.
Prerequisites:
To download the profile, your iPhone must be connected to a WiFi network.
You must have received a QR code by e-mail or collected one from a shop
Press OK.
N.B. : we advise making this modification once the profile has been downloaded.
-Use Primary as default number: the primary number will be used by default for voice messages, texts, data, iMessages and FaceTime. The Secondary number will be available only for voicemail messages and texts.
-Use Secondary as default number: the secondary number will be used by default for voice messages, texts, data, iMessages and FaceTime. The primary number will be available only for voice messages and texts.
-Use Secondary for mobile data only: you can select this option if you are travelling abroad and you want to keep your primary number for voice messages, texts, iMessages and FaceTime. That will allow you to use the secondary number for data.
In our example, check Use "Primary" as default number.
Click on OK.
Once the profile has been added, remember to restart your iPhone to benefit from all the eSIM services.
N.B. : if you want to set up a PIN, the default code is 0000. For more security, remember to change it.
